Theatrical Works on the Web in Basque.  The Basque translations of a number of theatrical works can now be read on the web thanks to the electronic publication by Armiarma of previous issues of the journal Antzerti [Theater]. Antzerti was published at two different times (1932-1936 and 1982-1985) and is an invaluable historical resource both of Basque theater and of the translation of theatrical works  [+]

Fernando Rey, winner of Euskadi award.  Fernando Rey has been awarded with this year's Euskadi prize for the best literary translation into Basque, in consideration of Pereirak dioenez, his translation of Italian author Antonio Tabucchi's Sostiene Pereira (Igela publishing house, 2006).  [+]

Jesus Krist Gure Jaunaren Testamentu Berria.  The Fundación Caja Navarra has published a facsimile edition of the Our Lord Jesus Christ New Testament, a translation of the New Testament completed by Joannes Leizarraga in 1571.  [+]
