Itzul Baita, benchmark centre for basque translation - Bego Montorio

The fruit of long years of work and experience, EIZIE has launched what in future will be the Benchmark Centre for Basque Translation: Itzul Baita. The objective of this organism which, for the time being, is operating under the aegis of the translators’ association, will be to design, promote, manage and socialize translation-related initiatives, and it will cover translation’s various aspects and realities: professional, informal, literary translation, new technologies, etc. It’s a flexible, complementary, boundary-crossing structure with a clearly-defined method of working.
